What is Occupational Therapy and why might I use this service?
Occupational Therapy involves analysing all the activities we do in our day-to-day life and helping to explore ways to increase independence and developmental skills.
Accepted self-referrals will be welcomed to complete a thorough Occupational Therapy Assessment. This will involve one-to-one time and a friendly written report with recommendations.
The service has standardised assessments for children from the age of 5 to 12 years. Referrals outside of this range will be considered on an individual basis.
The report can be used as evidence to help inform a potential diagnosis alongside another professional. It can also provide useful information to support an EHCP.

In 2025 the service will be launching an online learning platform called Smart Teachable which is aimed at students, parents and professionals.
Where is this Occupational Therapy service based?
The service has a Therapy Room which is based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire and is easily commutable from many locations in the country.
